Start of the year update

Happy new year everyone!   I know I’m slightly late, but as I mentioned in my last post I have moved house and it has been very busy here for the past 2 weeks. Finally, I am mostly settled in, just need to start decorating! If anyone has any ideas for decoration or any posts on it please leave them in the comments! I would love to get some idea’s, especially for my little girl’s room! M has a very big room now, and not a lot in there just now! I’m very excited to start filling it with things …

The Christmas Tag

I can’t believe that Christmas is upon us- just two more sleeps in fact! This has been a crazy year for my household, a one I am glad is almost over! I have been tagged by Country Heart and Home to do the Christmas tag- check her answers here!  Let’s begin then… Whats your favourite Christmas movie? The Grinch! Ever since being a small child I have always loved watching the Grinch on Christmas Eve, with a hot chocolate and fresh new PJ’s, there is simply nothing better. Always has me laughing, smiling, and crying all at once. A tradition …

Countdown to Grainger Market! Friday 1st December

Now that it’s coming to the end of November It’s time to start planning for CHRISTMAS! This year is going to be a bit more exciting for me since I am able to drive, I can go a little further for Christmas shopping!   I have been invited to Grainger Christmas market in Newcastle, and I couldn’t be more excited! I always love shopping for Christmas presents, but there is something so special about getting presents from markets! They seem to be so much more personal, and you usually find things you wouldn’t in shops and much better prices! Supporting …

Sunderland Illuminations 2017

Every year as a child I remember this time of the year fondly. The leaves falling to the ground, the cold nights setting in, and who can forget the hot chocolate before bed! This year we decided, since I can now drive (woo!) that we would venture a little further out, and explore the dark nights and see what we find. We saw an add on Facebook for Sunderland Illuminations 2017, and thought since we went to Durham Illuminations in 2015 that we would check this one out too. Sunderland is only a 45 minute drive away for us, and …

Schwarzkopf colour mask review

It’s that time again, for a new hair colour! Well, 2 this time, actually! Since we are heading into October, and halloween is right around the corner, I thought I would go with something more fitting, and I’m very pleased with the results. I chose directions neon blue, which I’ve had before, and schwarzkopf’s light brown. This is the first time I’ve tried the schwarzkopf colour mask, and was amazed to find a circular little tub and a tube to go inside. You also get instructions, a pair of gloves, and a small sample of conditioner. The smell was slightly stronger …

The start of nursery!

It’s that time! School has begun, and little ones are on their way to nursery and pre-school. This year I’m heading back to college myself, to study Acess to Health. This means Milo has gone to nursery! He goes every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for a few hours, and it’s on site of the college so it doesn’t feel too bad after I’ve dropped him off. With most nurserys they do a few tester days first before the big day, to help your little one settle in, which I found extremely calming and it gave me peace of mind that he …

Hair dyes!

One of my favourite topics has to be my hair. To those who don’t know, I have had my hair every colour in the rainbow and then some in between. I always love to see people getting creative with their hair, as it really shows of their personalilty. I have been dying my hair since I was around 14, starting out with simple changes such as blonde highlights, or tips. This quickly turned into using unnatural colours such as red, which was my first big move. I loved the brightness of the colour, and how it shone in the sun, …

My Tattoo’s #2

And we are back! hope I didnt keep you waiting too long! I’m going to dive right in starting with tattoo number 11-; This was the first start of my sleeve, and I was very excited and nervous all at once! For most tattoo lovers will know that long tattoo’s are intense, and you should only go for it if you’re sure you can handle it, as it is hard. This tattoo took around 6 hours, and by then end I was sore, but amazed. The level of planning and detail that Jason put into this tattoo shows how worth …

My Tattoo’s #1

So far I have 14 tattoo’s, each with a meaning of there own, and I often get stopped and asked about them by passers by, or shop assistants, and family members so I decided that I would write a post to explain them all. I am very passionate about my tattoo’s and each one will always have a meaning to it before I get it, like a piece of art, they explain parts of my life that mean the most to me. Most of my tattoo’s have been done at the same place, Acero Arte in Darlington by artist Jason …
