I admit that I have never before been to Pizza hut…
Until today! And honestly, I wish I had gone sooner.
After a few hours of baby free time today, we ventured out in search of some christmas shopping, and food. I had previously mentioned Pizza Hut, but had never got round to actually going.
As soon as we walked through the door we were greated by a lovely young man, who showed us to our table, gave us menu’s and let us know about “the great BIG sharer” which is the one we actually went for. I would say that this can feed 2 adults and 2 children.
We got a sharing pizza, two sides, two unlimited salads (self filling at the salad bar) and the option for a dessert to share, or one each, all for 26.95! I’m a fussy eater at the best of times, so I was very happy to learn that the sharer pizza could be half&half, meaning everyone wins.
We got half “New Orleans chicken sizzler” and “Hawaiian” (yes, pinapple DOES belong on pizza!) with cheesy bites for crust, Jalapeno poppers, cheesy chips, and 2 cheesecakes, with 2 bowls of salad. The pizza came serverd on its own raised plate, and the sides came in little baskets.
The food tasted great, the pizza was full of flavor, and the cheesy chips where spectaclular! Even the salad had so many options it was hard to fit it all on one plate. The drinks where refillable (for an extra £2.85) and came with ice, and you could have juice for kids too.
After half of the starters and 2 slices of pizza we where stuffed! When the waiter came round to ask how our meals where going, I asked if we could have our desert to takeaway, and he came back with 2 little boxes with our cheesecake in, and one big box for our pizza and starters! I was amazed to see somewhere be so organised and happy for people to take food away, and it made for a great supper tonight!
Everything tasted amazing, the waiters were happy and polite, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect (which is was), and I can honestly say I would be returning again, soon!
