Healthly homemade burgers!
As I have previously mentioned I am back on my slimming world diet, and I promised to add more recipes of what I was eating. So here
For the burgers
- 5% fat mince
- fresh garlic- crushed
- red salt
- mixed herbs
Mix the crushed garlic, salt, pepper and mixed herbs in a bowl. Separate the mozzarella into small pieces and place into a large bowl with the mince and begin mixing with your hands (or a spoon, I found hands worked easier as I can really mix it up!). Add the seasoning and mix through until the mince is sticking together. Separate the mince into small balls. The amount you get will depend on how thick you like them, I prefer mine medium so I managed to get 12 from a 1000g of mince. Flatten the mince down to desired thickness and
For the salad
- Asda’s own be good salad dressing
When doing salad on SW you are supposed to cover one third of your plate, and pack as many speed food in as you can. I like to add the dressing to bring a little more flavour, but you can do without if you want.
For the chips
- Fry light
Spray a tray with fry light, add salt and pepper. Slice potatoes to desired thickness and place on the tray, mixing around the salt, pepper
Serve all together and enjoy! I have loved this meal, and since I can freeze the burgers it makes it perfect for me to whip up in a hurry and still enjoy a low-syn meal.
